Job Title:
Machine Operator 1 Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting materials to ensure they meet industry standards and project requirements. You will adhere to safety protocols and workplace best practices to prevent hazards, while collaborating with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure precision and efficiency. Your role will involve performing quality control checks and documenting work, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and helping to develop designs for various projects. You will also use a variety of tools and equipment, read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, and maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance. Responsibilities Inspect materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Adhere to safety protocols and workplace best practices to prevent hazards. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure precision and efficiency. Perform quality control checks and documentation of work. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Help develop designs for various projects. Use a variety of tools and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance. Essential Skills Machine operating skills. Proficient in math, including the ability to add fractions. Experience in inspection and production. Ability to read basic measuring devices. Capability to work in high-precision environments and follow strict tolerances. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in machine operation and techniques. Experience with cutting and forming tubing and other fittings. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
