Job Description

Overview Up-North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at its Cottage Grove, MN location on our night shift. Up North Plastics recently completed a new building at our Cottage Grove MN location and is hiring due to company growth. A successful candidate must be mechanically inclined and have some previous experience working on engines/vehicles/machines. •Pay Starting at $26.00•

Qualifications Qualifications:

Strong Mechanical Aptitude Experience working with hand/power tools The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities Job Responsibilities:

Observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantling machines to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices. Inspecting used parts. Repairing or replacing defective parts. Installing new parts. Up North Plastics provides indepth on the job training with a lot of opportunity for growth.
