Manufacturing Operator Nycor Technical - 4.6 Edina, MN Job Details Full-time $20 - $21 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Tool & die Shop math High school diploma or GED Assembly Manufacturing facility Full Job Description The Cutting Machine Operator supports the production of materials performing both machining and finishing procedures in the custom manufacturing process to produce quality parts on time. 1st Shift!
Job Duties:
Reviews job routing completely and thoroughly along with any other documents (print, job card, control plan, etc.) prior to starting the job to ensure the part is produced accurately/successfully Performs a variety of secondary operations on parts manufactured as per customer requirements, including but not limited to: assembly, vulcanizing, gluing, picking, labeling and bagging Performs a variety of machine work, including but not limited to: Cutting, kiss cutting and creasing operations of the use of steel rule and permanent tool dies Issues materials and boxes accurately; records actual material quantity used to produce strips, blanks, etc. Greases and cleans machines according to preventive maintenance chart
Hours:
6 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, Friday 6 am to 10 am
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
