Production Supervisor Job Description:

Plate Saw Operators play critical roles in our Plant Operations by providing efficient, accurate and safe Order Fulfillment, on aluminum plate jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment o Identifying correct inventory to cut the jobs o Calculating correct quantity of plate needed to complete the job o Running all facets of cutting the order on the saws o Finalizing the ticket in the ERP system o Restocking drops after each job.

o Securely packaging all saw jobs after cutting for safe shipment to customers o Organizing saw jobs by driver route for efficient loading of trucks (by drivers)

Inventory Optimization o Proactively working to optimize inventory locations to keep the efficient flow of material in our plant
Inventory Counts o Participation in accurately measuring and counting aluminum plate inventory as determined by management to fulfill financial obligations
Occasionally load or unload incoming/outgoing materials
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse
Keep floors trash/garbage free at all times
Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor

Qualifications:

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have strong math skills and an ability to read tape measures and micrometers.
Must have a valid driver license.
Must be able to do moderate lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50#).
Previous plant work experience is desirable.
Must be able to work overtime.

Plant Supervisor/Shift Team Leader Job Description:

The Materials Coordinator (MC) position plays a critical role in our Plant Operations by providing efficient, accurate and safe Order Fulfillment, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Control and Issues Resolution of metals product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment
pulling materials from inventory and packaging for shipment o Must have the ability to pull orders efficiently, accurately and safely o Must adhere to material color codes and must be able to utilize tape measures and micrometers to ensure appropriate materials are pulled
Pull material for saw orders from inventory and provide to appropriate saw operator/location
Shipping/Receiving o Understand and adhere to all requirement procedures when receiving materials
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse o Operate equipment including forklifts, saws, trucks, etc. as trained
Keep floors trash/garbage free at all times
Assist A&C drivers with load preparations
Provide an accurate Inventory Count of designated inventory location(s)
Location/Pan Optimization
Daily o As inventory locations \"sell down\" the MC will consolidate materials and even relocate materials (adhering to best practice procedures) to open space for new inventory
Stocking o Stocking of received materials on a regular basis to ensure we can maintain our No Floor and 24 Hour Rack policies. o Identify and communicate any quality issues uncovered during stocking
Provide back-up to saw operators, drivers when necessary if appropriately trained
Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor
