⚙️ 2nd Shift Turret Operator $23-24/hr 🧩 What This Job Is This is a metal fabrication / machine operator role focused on running turret punch machines and related equipment. It starts as machine loading and inspection, with a clear path into setup and programming. ✅ Core Responsibilities 🏭 Machine Operation Load sheet metal into turret machines Monitor machines during operation Ensure parts are running correctly and efficiently 🔍 Quality Control Inspect finished parts (visual + basic measuring tools) Verify parts meet specifications and tolerances Prevent damage to materials during handling 📐 Blueprint & Setup Support Read and interpret blueprints Assist in machine setup (turret, press brake, punch press) Learn tooling, changeovers, and setup adjustments 💻 Skill Development (Growth Component) Support basic machine programming Learn more advanced fabrication processes over time Progress toward full setup/operator responsibilities 🧼 Safety & Organization Maintain clean, organized work area Follow all fabrication shop safety procedures Properly handle materials and equipment 💪 Physical & Work Demands Moderate physical work (handling sheet metal) Standing for long periods Repetitive machine operation tasks Industrial shop environment (but clean and modern) 🛠️ Required Skills 6+ months machine operating experience Basic blueprint reading Experience with sheet metal or fabrication Ability to perform basic quality inspections Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Gaylord, MN.
