Job Details:
Custom Products of Litchfield is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Laser Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines Load and unload materials (sheet metal, plate, etc.) Interpret blueprints, job orders, and production schedules Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience operating laser cutting equipment preferred (but not required—training may be provided) Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.) Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving ability Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and strong work ethic At Custom Products, You'll operate all the machines in the Fab area. Little or no experience? Great! We'll train you!! Experience? Great, we'll pay you!! You'll get out of this position everything you put into it. The sky's the limit if you reach for it!
