Assembly Finishing Job Description Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satifiaction are met or exceeded Performs assembly operations outlined in job book Align material and put together parts to build more complex units Check output to ensure highest quality and quality at the source Maintain equipment in good condition Notifies Manager/Lead when MOS need to be created for equipment maintenance Keep records of production quantities scrap and meets expected rates Report issues, malfunction or defective parts Work with others on a line or group in order to assemble products Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures Places correct labels on regrind containers Verifies correct supplies and parts per job book or work order Visually inspects all parts prior to packaging Performs sanding, masking, inserting, milling and drilling procedures on parts Operate automatic robotics, assists on paint line and assembly line Performs required steps of secondary operations with the use of hand tools Builds boxes/containers, packages, and labels parts for shipment to customer Performs rework duties Maintains clean workstation and continuously practices housekeeping standards Performs all other assignments as required Basic math skills Understanding of measurement Basic English reading ability and comprehension to understand instructions in job books Basic computer skills Demonstrate ability to work in team environment or independently Must be good at following directions and have a strong attention to detail Able to lift 55lbs Our Commitment to
