Overview:

As a Laser/Water Jet/Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines, water jet machines, and saws. Your primary duties will involve setting up the equipment, running cutting operations, and ensuring quality control. You'll work with various materials, following blueprints and process control instructions to produce precise parts. Tucs Equipment is looking for a Laser/Water Jet/Saw Operator to join our team in Princeton, MN.

Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

o Operate laser cutting machines, water jet machines, and saws. o Set up the equipment according to job requirements. o Adjust settings based on process control instructions and blueprints. o Run cutting operations using premade programs. o Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues.

Material Handling:

o Safely load and unload materials onto the machines. o Ensure proper alignment and positioning of materials. o Separate, deburr, and label parts that come from the laser and water-cutting machines.

Quality Control:

o Comply with internal quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy. o Inspect finished pieces for defects.

Safety and Maintenance:

o Follow safety procedures and guidelines. o Perform routine maintenance on the machines. o Keep the work area clean and organized.

Documentation:

o Accurately complete paperwork related to production and quality control.

Qualifications:

o High school diploma or equivalent. o Previous experience operating laser cutting machines, water jet machines, or saws. o Knowledge of specific laser cutting software programs (for laser operators). o Ability to read blueprints and follow process control instructions. o Attention to detail and commitment to quality. o Strong problem-solving skills. o Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and operating machinery.
