What You'll Do as a Flexographic Machine Operator

Shift:

Set up and operate flexographic presses to meet production and quality standardsMount printing plates and adjust rollers, doctor blades, meter rollers, and diesMatch inks and maintain accurate color registration according to specificationsPerform die cutting, slitting, and matrix removal processesInspect finished products and complete required SPC measurements and production documentationPerform required daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenanceFollow safety procedures, production schedules, and Lean Manufacturing practices What You Need to Bring to the Flexographic Machine Operator

Shift Role:

High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of machine operating experience; CNC machining experience does not qualifyGood computer and math skillsAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructions and understand CAD drawings as applicableKnowledge of production measurement devices, including calipers and SPC measurement and documentationAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsFlexibility to work occasional mandatory overtime or adjusted hours as production needs requirePrior flexographic machine experience and knowledge of inks, substrates, color registration, laminates, ink pH, and viscosity are preferredWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
