Hours:
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday Benefits of the vertical extrusion operator: Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Hands-on training in extrusion operations Opportunity to learn industrial machine operation Long-term manufacturing opportunity Duties of the vertical extrusion operator: Learn to operate and monitor extrusion equipment Assist with machine setup and preparation for upcoming orders Monitor materials and perform required quality checks Identify and report print or quality defects Keep extruders and surrounding work areas clean and organized Obtain and organize materials needed for production Complete required training Communicate production information between shifts Follow all PPE, GMP, SQF, safety, and quality procedures Requirements of the vertical extrusion operator: High school diploma or GED Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to lift 50+ lbs Proficient in English — speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension Basic understanding of imperial and metric measurements Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift Comfortable working at heights and on elevated work platforms
Additional Information:
This position is primarily performed on the production floor. The extrusion equipment is vertical, requiring employees to climb stairs and work from elevated levels of the machine as part of normal job duties.
