Job Description

Assembly job description- Sit down and standing general labor, willing to train, repetitive positions. The make and assemble home improvement tools. Injection molded parts. 1 person adds magnets to a paint pail that has come off the conveyor, another person places a label, someone places in box, tapes box shut and palletizes on pallet that is waste high that lowers as weight is added. They make plastic putty knives in three different sizes. On this line, they take the steel knife, add a label and two pieces to the handle they place this handle in a universal stamping machine with two hand control. This presses the handle together. Clark Forklifts. Use of Vandorn to place cap on end of putty knife, Use of Little David to tape boxes shut in one area. Universal Labeling system with light curtain. 25-30 lb max lift. 98% of job is only ounces (handles/pails) All positions are rotated every 2.5 hours / 4 times a day.

What You'll Do:
Assemble plastic putty knives in multiple sizes Attach steel knives to handles using a universal stamping machine with two hand control Apply labels to knives and handle components Use the Vandorn machine to place caps on putty knife ends Operate Clark forklifts to move materials as needed Use the Little David machine to tape boxes shut Operate a Universal Labeling system equipped with a safety light curtain What You Need to
Bring:
