Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM•4:30
PM Pay:
$20.00•23.00/hour

Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire A manufacturing company in Stacy, MN is seeking a detail-oriented SMT Machine Operator to support Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting SMT equipment to ensure quality electronic assemblies are produced efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate SMT equipment including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI systems Load and unload components and feeders while minimizing loss or damage Read and interpret work instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, and component polarity Perform in-process quality inspections and verify solder paste and component placement accuracy Hand place components as needed and make program adjustments to improve quality Perform light, routine maintenance on SMT equipment Identify process or component issues and communicate promptly Maintain organized components and a clean, safe SMT work area Work cooperatively with team members and support production schedules Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of SMT or related manufacturing experience preferred Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Experience working under magnification or microscope Familiarity with ESD safety and
IPC-A-610
