Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Distillation Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring distillation equipment to produce high-quality cannabis products efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure that processes run smoothly, adhering to strict safety and quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Operate and control distillation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, performing troubleshooting and minor maintenance to prevent downtime. Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Handle materials safely within the warehouse, including materials handling, packaging, and inventory management. Utilize forklift trucks for moving raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility. Maintain accurate documentation of process conditions, batch records, and operational logs for quality assurance purposes. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably with laboratory experience or in a laboratory setting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction. Experience operating distillation or similar process equipment is highly desirable. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one upon hire is required. Familiarity with CGMP standards and safety protocols within a manufacturing setting. Strong materials handling skills with warehouse experience preferred. Basic machining skills or familiarity with equipment maintenance are a plus.
