We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to fabricate metal components according to precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Laser Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.

Thursday Shift Differential:

$2.00/hour Duties Operate laser cutting machines to cut parts according to specifications. Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Set up laser cutting machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Perform quality checks on finished parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Assist in programming laser machines for specific cutting tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred. Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation are essential for this role. Experience with tooling assembly and fabrication techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of programming for laser operations will be beneficial. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are critical for success in this position.
