Lumber Operator 4-12 Shift

Job Description

This position is responsible for producing finished product of various types of plastic lumber, parts, and assemblies from raw and recycled materials.
Shift Schedule:
4:00pm - Midnight Duties & Responsibilities Fast, efficient set-ups Operation of molded lumber lines and CNC Handling molds, filling and emptying Handling and making plastic lumber as assemblies Monitoring the machine at all times assuring quality product is produced Accurately measure, document, and chart the activity of the line Read and follow drawings and production orders Use power tools (wood working tools) to make and finish parts and/or assemblies Responsible for safe operation of the line Assist in maintenance of machine repair Help maintain the cleanliness of the workstation to meet our Food Safety Policy Assist in R D Other duties as assigned Ability to read and write English Able to follow strict product specifications Computer experience necessary Mechanical knowledge in working with equipment and carpentry tools helpful Read drawings to make parts and assemblies Ability to do accurate, detailed paperwork Good math skills are necessary Committed to producing a quality product and safety conscious Work as a team member The physical requirements necessary to perform this job are as follows: Works in a production environment Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms with upper and lower body mobility Frequently stand, stoop, and bend Frequently lift or move products up to 70 pounds Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift Adaptable to various job duties Starting wage: $25.13/Hour Bedford Industries offers its employees a competitive total rewards package both professionally and personally.
