Job Description
Minnesota Machining Inc. is a small, growing job shop looking for a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn and grow with the company. Responsibilities Operate and monitor CNC and/or conventional machinery as assigned Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings/prints Follow work instructions, specifications, and established procedures Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Identify and communicate quality or machine issues to the appropriate team member Meet production schedules while maintaining a strong focus on quality Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work independently while also contributing positively to the team Qualifications Ability to read and apply basic machining prints Previous machining or manufacturing experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Ability to use or learn precision measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with coworkers Willingness to learn new machines, processes, and skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Commitment to workplace safety Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move materials weighing 50+ lbs. Ability to frequently bend, reach, and handle materials and parts Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment Schedule Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Four 10-hour shifts No regular Friday shift.
