Wage Rate $19.50/hour and $20.50/hour

CLEAN AIR CONDITIONED WAREHOUSE BONUS

EARN UP TO $125 A WEEK Packaging Staff is responsible for operating equipment and packaging finished products with maximum efficiency and quality with minimum down time and waste. Also, keeping their areas clean and organized and working with fellow employees to create a team oriented atmosphere. Packaging staff is also responsible to ensure they are working safely. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Reliable attendance is required; ability to adhere to assigned work schedule.

Maximize Quality Production with limited down time and waste.

Know and follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Company Policies in a positive upbeat manner.

Comply with GFSI, FDA, GMP, OSHA and HACCP guidelines.

Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Wear proper PPE per GMPs, SDS, and OSHA.

Maintain a clean and organized work area. Clean as you go.

Ability to recognize and correct food safety and quality issues.

Report any unsafe condition or property damage to supervisor immediately.

Ensure all safety precautions are taken.

Always notify your supervisor before leaving workstation.

Ensure only quality product is getting packaged.

Perform and/or assist in changeovers as directed.

Ensure packages are being packed into cases properly and cases are stacked on pallets correctly.

Train other individuals in operating equipment and packing product.

Suggest ways to improve our quality or productivity.

Perform clean up and sanitation of equipment as directed.

At end of day ensure the room is stocked with the correct raw materials for the next shift and that the room is cleaned properly.

Keep all production room doors closed at all times.

Maintain production rates and parameters as directed.

Ensure proper code date is on packages and finished cases.

Perform quality checks on packaging; inform supervisor of any non-conforming product.

Report any equipment problems to Production Manager/Quality Control Supervisor.

Report any waste of raw materials above normal levels.

Perform other duties as required. What You'll Need High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge in Quality Procedures

1+ years of Food Manufacturing

PREFERRED

Packaging experience

REQUIRED.

Mechanical aptitude for high speed packaging equipment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Quality oriented

Ability to work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating effectively between shift/department
