Job Description

Company Overview Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label charcoal, manufactured fire logs, fire-building products, matches and toothpicks. In addition, the Company also manufactures railroad cross ties, which strengthens our relationship with our suppliers in the charcoal business. We offer a full suite of grilling products including charcoal briquettes, all-natural lump charcoal, fire starters along with the Pine Mountain fire-building brand, the Diamond brand, and the Specialty Wood Products brand. Position Summary Royal Oak is looking fer a Packaging Technician D. This position is responsible fer the operation of the machines required to package lump charcoal. Packaging technicians are able to operate and maintain one of the following pieces of equipment; Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, and Wrapper.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hire
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Able to operate equipment at standard run rates Able to identify critical elements on each machine Able to perform basic corrective actions Able to perform a change-over w/ assistance Maintain a clean work area Identify quality issues May involve repetitive movements Lifting up to 60 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
