At Walsworth, our team is the heart of our business, and we are currently looking for a Bindery - Assistant to join our team! As a Bindery - Assistant, you will support the production of high-quality magazines, catalogs, and other print materials. This is a great opportunity for individuals eager to learn and gain experience in Bindery Operations, including working on perfect binding and stitcher equipment. Key Responsibilities Read and understand Bindery Department policies, procedures, and job tickets to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Follow verbal instructions from operators, leads, and managers to incorporate into daily responsibilities. Apply basic troubleshooting skills to address machine or process issues. Meet and exceed department production rates and efficiency goals. Perform routine quality checks to ensure print consistency and document results. Collaborate effectively in a team environment, helping to ensure smooth operations and meeting production deadlines. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma. Basic proficiency in math and measuring tools. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions. Ability to stand for long periods (minimum of 12 hours per shift).
