Job Description

2nd Shift Monday thru Friday
  • 2:45pm to 11:15pm 3rd Shift Sunday thru Thursday
  • 10:45 pm to 7:15 am Process parts in the fabrication department.
Employee will comply with all safety and quality guidelines on machinery and in the workplace. Be adequately cross trained in various functions on small hydraulic machines.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines in our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up machinery for operation
  • Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
  • Required to understand the differences between operating small hydraulic die stations, such as notch, mash, saw, presses
  • Perform quality control checks
  • Keep records of production quantities and time
  • Ensure the machine operates efficiently
Skills:
  • Experience with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of machining processes such as milling and fabrication
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Proficiency in using various tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing products
  • Understanding of warehouse operations related to machine parts storage
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control practices
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read standard and metric tape measure
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • One to three years related manufacturing experience preferred.
