Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production - Final Processing specialist on the 2nd shift! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for the final stages of product assembly and quality assurance, ensuring that every item meets our high standards before it reaches customers. Shall follow company ASME and customer standards always. Assumes responsibility in getting stainless steel vessels prepared for shipping by cleaning and bagging, along with final assembly, saddles, pallets or any necessary items on the vessel. Your expertise in mechanical processes, safety protocols, and efficient workflow management will be vital to maintaining our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing facility Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner. Clean and passivate vessels to company standards Perform testing and evaluations on test results to coordinate with team members. Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols, including proper use of hand tools and mechanical assembly procedures Willingness to work with customer demands and communications. Build skids, crate, and package vessels for shipping. Loading and unloading shipments. Perform final assembly of vessel. Requirements Proficiency in operating a forklift. Proficiency in operating overhead cranes. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools. Familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling, and heavy lifting procedures Work in very hot or very cold conditions. Personal Integrity Customer oriented Proficient math skills include the ability to calculate measurements. Knowledge of product and fabrication methods Able to quickly, and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine in exact positions. Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices. Abilities Required Read and write legibly A solid attendance record Lift, carry or move 50 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 75 pounds occasionally, and over 75 pounds with mechanical assistance. Able to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Able to listen, understand and follow instructions. Able to multi-task in all situations.
