7:00am-3:30pm We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to operate and maintain laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for keeping production moving, ensuring parts are cut accurately, and preparing completed parts for the next stage of production. This is a direct hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO. Laser Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment
• Monitor machines throughout the cutting process to ensure quality and accuracy
• Work with automated loading and unloading systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
• Inspect finished parts and identify errors before they move to the next operation
• Troubleshoot machine or part issues and make necessary adjustments
• Unload, organize, and stage completed parts for welding or other production areas
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
• Maintain production pace while meeting quality and safety standards
• Work independently and manage multiple jobs or priorities as needed

Laser Operator Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment required
• Experience with Mazak, Bodor, or similar laser equipment preferred
• Experience working with automated material loading/unloading systems is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and understand part orientation and specifications
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools to verify part quality
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to recognize mistakes and make corrections before parts move to the next stage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
