Job Description
Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Laser Operators to fill openings with a local Manufacturing company in Riverside, MO.
Job Overview:
Setup & Operation:
Configure and operate CNC flat laser cutting machines (e.g., fiber or CO₂ lasers) for cutting sheet metal and other materialsMaterial Handling:
Load and unload raw materials (sheet metal) and finished parts; may use forklifts or overhead cranesBlueprint Interpretation:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure correct material type, thickness, and cut parametersQuality Control:
Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools to verify accuracyMaintenance:
Conduct routine machine maintenance, clean work areas, and report mechanical issuesSafety Compliance:
Follow all safety policies and procedures; maintain a clean, organized workspaceProduction Support:
Meet production schedules, assist with other CNC operator duties, and perform minor maintenance or alignment tasksNote:
