6:00am-2:00pm (Mon-Thurs) QPS Employment Group has a great Label Packaging Associate position available at a company in St. Charles, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Label Packaging Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collect completed rolls of labels from designated machine and production areas.
• Inspect label rolls for obvious damage, incorrect packaging, or visible quality concerns before boxing.
• Package label rolls securely in the appropriate boxes according to established procedures.
• Verify that packaged products match the applicable job order, label, quantity, or shipping information.
• Apply required identification, packaging, or shipping labels to completed boxes.
• Transport packaged label rolls safely and efficiently to the Shipping Department.
• Organize completed boxes in designated staging or shipping areas.
• Communicate with machine operators and Shipping Department personnel regarding completed orders, packaging needs, or product concerns.
• Maintain an adequate supply of boxes, packing materials, labels, and related supplies near assigned work areas.
• Keep machine-area packaging stations, walkways, and staging areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
• Follow all company safety, quality, production, and material-handling procedures.
• Assist with counting, sorting, stacking, and preparing completed label products for shipment as production needs require.

Label Packaging Associate Requirements:

• Previous packaging, production, warehouse, or shipping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail when matching products, quantities, packaging, and identification labels.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with machine operators, production employees, and shipping personnel.
• Basic counting and reading skills.
• Ability to maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and stoop frequently while collecting and packaging label rolls.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to push or pull carts or other material-handling equipment weighing up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use both hands frequently to grasp, handle, package, and move label rolls and boxes.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to machinery noise and ongoing equipment activity.
