Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Machine Operator/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help drive the successful completion of infrastructure development, paving, excavation, and site preparation activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to impactful construction projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, track loaders and other various attachments and powered equipment. Perform site preparation activities including grading, paving, excavation, trenching, backfilling and erosion control management to meet project specifications. Conduct routine/daily inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are upheld. Assist with material handling by loading and unloading construction materials using appropriate equipment like loaders and dump trucks. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on active construction sites to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively. Maintain detailed records of equipment operation hours, maintenance logs, and site activities for accountability. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers (Caterpillar preferred), loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and operational standards. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating large vehicles like dump trucks or water trucks. Knowledge of construction processes including paving, grading, excavation, and site development is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards. Join us in building the future!
