Outdoor Assembly Technician Job Description As an Outdoor Assembly Technician, you will perform various tasks as instructed by the group leader to assemble units in compliance with dimensional drawings, safety requirements, and quality methods. This role requires the ability to read and understand provided drawings and effectively utilize various tools such as pneumatic impact tools, pliers, and wrenches. Responsibilities Assemble units according to dimensional drawings and safety requirements. Utilize tools such as pneumatic impact tools, pliers, and wrenches. Move between several work stations as required. Perform casing and wiring tasks. Conduct sub-assembly mating. Recognize and report any errant parts. Record completed processes accurately. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly tasks. Experience with hand tools and general labor. Ability to use a tape measure effectively. Flexibility and adaptability to change. Team-oriented with initiative to learn. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent attendance and positive attitude. Work Environment Work in a large, non-temperature controlled plant environment, exposed to outdoor elements. Stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop as needed. Available shifts include 1st shift (5am-3pm, Monday to Thursday) and 2nd shift (3pm-1am, Monday to Thursday), with mandatory Friday and Saturday shifts. Final assembly takes place outdoors on the dock for crane and truck loading. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
