Job Description

The Repairman 3 mechanic with expertise in all aspects of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and project leadership.

Required:

High school diploma or

GED. 7-10

years of mechanical maintenance experience. Expert knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Strong leadership and project management skills. High level of safety and quality Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) Good problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Technical certifications or associate degree. Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge. Forklift experience. Computer Software. Warehouse experience. Welding and machining certifications preferred. Lead complex mechanical repairs and equipment overhauls. Diagnose root causes of recurring failures and develop corrective actions. Coordinate with engineering and maintenance planning teams. Provide technical expertise during shutdowns and capital projects. Mentor mechanics across multiple shifts. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Additional duties as assigned
