Job Description
Safely unload tanker trucks and railcars into designated storage tanks. Operate transfer pumps, valves, hoses, and associated unloading equipment. Understand pump operation, product flow, pressure, and transfer procedures. Verify incoming products and ensure transfers are made to the correct storage tanks. Perform pre-transfer and post-transfer inspections of equipment and connections. Monitor transfer operations to prevent spills, leaks, contamination, or overfills. Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately. Inspect pumps, hoses, valves, and unloading equipment for proper operation. Follow all OSHA, DOT, EPA, company, and environmental regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe unloading area. Report equipment issues, leaks, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.
