Full-time Job Overview:

PFL Services is looking for a candidate that has at least 2 years of plastic extrusion experience.

Responsibilities:

Strictly adheres to company and plant safety policies and procedures. Completes all annual training as required. Maintain and enforce a safe, clean work environment. Select machine dies. Determine setup procedures. Reel extruded products into rolls or reels. Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels. Replace worn dies. Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature. Synchronize speed of extrusion. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Locate defects on extruded parts. Check for conformance to specifications. Record product measurements. Adjust controls as necessary. Install, connect, test and adjust equipment. String up lines. Clean tools and tooling. Operate extruders.

Physical Demands:

Moving and lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Walking, standing on concrete 8+ hrs./day.

Work Environment:

Works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Climate may be cold or hot. Exposed to dust, odors, noise, fumes associated with the extrusion manufacturing process.
