Machine Operator

PURPOSE Responsible for ensuring that all finished products manufactured on the line are properly removed from the machine, packaged accordingly to customer specifications, and loaded onto the truck or otherwise properly stored.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Removing rolls or pads of fiber off machine and putting into bags or boxes according to instructions Loading trucks Feeding picker/scrap/grinder machine Keeping areas clean/swept Machine Operotor with some computer skills Reading of measurement Covering for other employees during breaks Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Possesses the ability to bend, squat, twist, pull, push, reach above head, and lift 50 + pounds.
• Walks and stands for an entire shift, 12 hours.
• Stands on a variation of hard, concrete surfaces.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Adapts to seasonal temperature changes in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• Fast paced environment.
• Some overtime
