Are you ready to be part of a team that's passionate about patient care and excellence in imaging services? At WakeMed Health & Hospitals , we're looking for a Imaging Technology Assistant who's eager to support our technologists and make a real impact in the lives of our patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
As an Imaging Tech Assistant, you'll be the go-to support for our imaging team. You'll help set up equipment, prep rooms, assist with patient transport, and ensure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after procedures. You'll also get hands-on training with imaging equipment, patient movement devices, and computer systems—so you'll be learning and growing every day.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Assisting technologists with patient care and exam prep Transporting and transferring patients safely and compassionately Prepping imaging rooms and equipment for upcoming procedures Learning to operate imaging support tools and technology Supporting clerical and technical tasks to keep the department running efficiently
