Full Job Description TITLE:
Converting Operator
C POSITION OBJECTIVE
To safely produce good, quality film using conversion equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred Basic understanding of machine operations and adjustments Oral and written communication skills Up to 50 lbs. lifting maximum P.C. Knowledge Mechanical aptitude Physical activity required for this position Visual activity required for this position Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Package and secure finished good products to procedure Perform other duties deemed necessary by Management. Actively participate in corrective actions for film non conformities, equipment abnormals, and material defects. Fully support and work toward achieving plant targets and goals. Familiar with quality defects for machine and hand film. Maintain High level of housekeeping Comply with Plant Safety Regulations and Good Manufacturing practices Troubleshoot all areas of packing Training New Personnel Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
