Overview:
In this role, you will support daily production operations by coordinating workflow, training and assisting employees, and serving as a liaison between production employees and the Shift Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Coordinate employee assignments to support production needs and workflow. Train new Machine Operators and provide ongoing guidance and support to production employees. Assist employees with work instructions, change instructions, and established operating procedures. Support the implementation and consistent application of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor production activities to promote efficiency and minimize non-maintenance downtime. Ensure production work meets established quality standards. Verify required production information is accurately recorded and reported. Monitor employee compliance with required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures. Lead and support 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Help develop operator capability and flexibility through training and cross-training. Serve as a liaison between production employees and the Shift Supervisor, communicating operational needs, concerns, and issues as appropriate. Model professional communication, teamwork, safety, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Assist the Shift Supervisor with production-related responsibilities as needed. Perform Machine Operator responsibilities and provide production coverage as needed. Other duties as assigned. Core Competencies Leadership skills with the ability to provide direction, training, and support to others. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and workplace safety. Dependability with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Machine Operator experience or demonstrated production operations knowledge preferred. Ability to train, provide work direction, and communicate effectively with the production team. Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documentation, and established procedures. Ability to operate production equipment and meet the physical requirements of the position.
Schedule Third Shift:
