Extrusion

•2nd shiftMin Starting Pay $18 + 1.75 shift diffMonday to Friday 3pm to 11pm10 paid holidays & 3 weeks PTO!! Free Uniforms!

•dollar for dollar match on the first 3%, then 50% match on the next 2%We are actively hiring Machine Operators to join our team at our Concord, NC plant. Americhem is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of custom color concentrates. Our production operators specialize in setting up, operating, and tending extruding machines to process a variety of products that our customers use to manufacture a vast array of finished products.

Machine Operator Requirements/ Preferred QualificationsEducation:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production strongly preferred.

Machine Operator Knowledge and Skills:

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshootTow motor/forklift experienceDependable, reliable, and self-motivated Solid math and analytic skills

Machine Operator Essential Duties:

Holds safety in highest regard by making good safety decisions, following safety procedures, watching out for the safety of self and others, contributing to safety improvements and participating in safety programsProduce compound samples according to specifications by using production equipment, devices and instruments (extruders, scales, feeders, classifiers, pelletizers, dies, visual display units, dials, and calibrators)Keeps machinery and mechanical equipment operational by performing preventative maintenance tasks on machine and equipmentThe Operator adds color mix to the feeder by using a tow motor/forklift to lift the color pot up to the platform, and setting it in the proper slot.
