Overview of Responsibilities Upholstery Trimmer makes, repairs, or replaces outside work. Trimmers fit, install, and secure material (fabric) on wooden frames using hand tools, power tools. Aligning parts / fabric to ensure proper assembly and quality levels. Applying fabric/poly to furniture frames by means of hand tools. Fixing own repairs while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production levels Using a computer/scan gun to scan work for production tracking. Maintaining clean/neat workstation Maintaining tools in working condition All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of furniture trimming experience. High school diploma or GED preferred. LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus Basic computer knowledge Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship. Must be flexible to work overtime when required. Able to stand for 10 hours. Able to use hand tools/air tools/staple gun for 10 hours. Regularly lift and/or move objects 50lbs.
