2nd shift, 3:00 PM-11:30

Mandatory Saturdays may be required based on production needs TE Connectivity is seeking reliable and detail-oriented candidates for an Assembly Operator I position at our Fairview, NC facility. We manufacture relays and switches for the aerospace industry. The Assembly Operator I is responsible for assembling components according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This position may require the use of microscopes, small hand tools, measuring devices, and fixtures to produce high-quality parts for our customers. The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, is eager to learn, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to safety, quality, and productivity. All team members are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area while following TE Connectivity's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures. Responsibilities Inspect completed work using quality standards and work instructions. Perform pull tests as required for specific operations. Measure components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices. Inspect products according to blueprints and specifications. Complete required operational paperwork to maintain product traceability. Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs when needed. Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the work area. Follow company and departmental guidelines, procedures, and policies. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Read and perform tasks according to technical drawings. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. Good communication skills. Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet production goals. Experience using measuring devices such as gauges and calipers preferred. Availability to work overtime, including mandatory Saturdays when required. Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 75% of the time. Ability to operate machinery. Ability to move between work zones. Ability to understand and follow written instructions in English. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
