Job Description

Monitors, sets up, and maintains machines and equipment in the production line, ensuring the feeding of raw materials as per schedule, making minor repairs, and testing finished materials for compliance. Job Requirements Regular use of mixers and extruders running at elevated temperatures to melt the chemicals used. Much of the work involves cleaning of all processing equipment between the different colors of chemical types (Change Over). When cleaning, heavy scraping, wiping, and use of pneumatic tools with wire wheels is required. On equipment with auto-feeders, lifting is occasionally required while processing. On equipment without auto feeders, lifting of the ingredients - up to 50 lbs. - is required frequently. Document all production activities as required (Autonomous Maintenance, WIP tracking, OEE, etc.) Adhere to all safety policies, including PPE requirements and handling regulations for chemicals or pharmaceutical ingredients. Help maintain inventory of raw materials and production supplies. Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Lean Manufacturing, and others to ensure product consistency and compliance. Pre-Weighing Chemicals - batched sized quantities into poly bags (prior to use on the mixers). These chemicals are either powdered or pelletized. Materials are scooped from 55 lb. bags or from large boxes and placed in a small clear plastic bag while weighed on a scale. A hand-held plastic scoop to transfer material is used. What your background should look like High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write, and speak English Ability to understand and follow written batch instructions and SOPs. 2+ years' experience using mixers, scales, and other compounding equipment. Strong attention to detail and accurate measurement skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production environment. Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $28.00/Hour to $32.00/Hour + 9% Shift Differential for working on 2nd Shift - Pay depends on experience. (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
