Job Description

Job Overview:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications and work instructions. This role supports production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Assembly Operations:
  • Assemble parts, components, and products using hand tools, power tools, and equipment as required.
  • Follow assembly instructions, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies during assembly and report quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support production flow.
Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes.
Material Handling:
  • Retrieve materials and components from storage or production areas for assembly.
  • Handle and organize parts and subassemblies to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in inventory counts and report material shortages or discrepancies.
Safety and Environment:
Must contribute to a safe, environmentally responsible production environment by promoting best practices and continuous improvement in health, safety, and sustainability. Key Metrics

  • Adherence to SOPs Preferred qualifications: Candidate must have some or all of the following Educational/Technical requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments is a plus.
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings or assembly instructions.
Preferred skills and abilities:
Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities:
  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset.
  • Ability to follow instructions and SOPs accurately.
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed on the production floor, often standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Exposure to machinery, tools, and varying temperatures may occur.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials or components, typically up to 30-50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
  • Safety compliance and use of PPE is mandatory at all times.
