Job Description

Job Summary The Saw Operator is responsible for safely operating saw equipment to cut metal materials according to specifications. This position requires the ability to accurately read a tape measure, move heavy materials, and operate an overhead crane while maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate saw machines to cut metal materials to required dimensions. Read and accurately use a tape measure to ensure precise cuts. Load, unload, and move heavy materials and carts throughout the production area. Safely operate an overhead crane to transport materials. Perform basic machine setup and routine inspections. Verify material dimensions and quality before and after cutting. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements. Qualifications Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Ability to lift, push, and move heavy materials and carts. Experience operating an overhead crane is preferred. Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
