KP Staffing Hickory is now hiring machine operators for a leading manufacturer that specializes in plastic injection molding!
Company Overview:
This company is a manufacturer seeking Machine Operators with the ability to safely operate and monitor production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Skilled in maintaining quality standards, following safety procedures, performing basic machine adjustments, and meeting production goals. Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, DOE Responsibilities , Physical Demands, & Work Environment Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently according to production requirements. Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and operating procedures. Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity standards. Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products from production lines. Perform routine quality inspections to ensure products meet company specifications. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify supervisors or maintenance personnel of mechanical problems. Accurately record production data, quality checks, and downtime information. Stack, label, package, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. Assist with machine changeovers, setup, and basic preventative maintenance tasks as assigned. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment when certified and required. Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production goals. Lift, carry, push, pull, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the work shift. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Physical Demands/Requirements Must be able to stand, stoop, reach, grasp, sit or stand for long periods of time, and lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. safely. Noise level in materials area at times can be loud. Must be willing and able to abide by all safety policies. Non-climate-controlled plant environment; standard hazards within a manufacturing plant where safety precautions and personal protective equipment must be maintained at all times. Requirements 1-3 years of experience, experience a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical and technical aptitude aimed at controlling and operating complex machinery.
