Job Description
We are growing and we need you! We currently have a variety of manufacturing positions immediately available, currently located in High Point, NC but moving in June to Salisbury, NC 28416 to a new build climate controlled top of the line building. Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team and be a vital part of producing high-quality paper tube products in a fast-paced, innovative environment. We are looking for machine operators, material handlers and general helper roles offering exciting opportunities as our business grows. We currently need team members for our first shift from 7am-3pm, we are adding a second shift soon to meet on growing customer demands. Whether you're experienced in machining or eager to develop new skills, this position provides a platform for growth, hands-on learning, and meaningful contribution to our manufacturing excellence. Good eye for quality and details and the ability to use a tape measure and covert to fractions a must. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including Saw, Winders, shrink wrap machines. Read a tape measure and convert measurements to fractions, measure twice cut once! Maintain good housekeeping, read and follow instructions and follow safety rules. Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and warehouse organization. Support production line operations finishing tasks as needed to meet production goals. Material handlers responsible to pulling correct product to complete customer orders and load trucks for daily delivery to customers. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating machines in manufacturing environment. Ability to see details to ensure products meet quality standards. Skilled in using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, use and read a tape measure and convert to fractions.. Knowledge of factory safety protocols; certification in forklift operation is a plus. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred; familiarity with materials handling, packaging procedures, and quality control standards.
