Job Description
Position Summary As a Machine Operator with our organization, you will assume a crucial role in upholding the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of our manufacturing process Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the daily functions of our production table loaders and table movers. This will include operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cleaning of the machines. This responsibility will include a healthy amount of physical activity. Additionally, you will be responsible for the data collection and entry of the daily production counts. At certain times of the year, you will be expected to perform other tasks such as: preventative maintenance, deep cleaning, and helping on the production lines. We are seeking an individual with a strong commitment to safety, proven technical skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare machinery for operation. Initiate machinery and make necessary adjustments to enhance performance. Execute machinery and equipment in accordance with provided instructions. Resolve issues by adhering to troubleshooting protocols. Generate maintenance work orders as needed. Conduct quality control, adhere to reporting and documentation procedures, and communicate issues to supervisors. Adhere to all safety and health regulations. Sanitize machinery and uphold cleanliness in the work area. Other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Prepare machinery for operation. Numerical proficiency:
capable of executing mathematical computations (additions, subtraction, multiplication, division) across various units of measurement. Proficient in following written and verbal instructions. Adept at collaborating within a team. Capable of performing repetitive tasks such as bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing or walking for extended periods. Readiness to work flexible hours, including late shifts, early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required.Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience. Understanding of production and plant processes. Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility safely, while following all machine guarding and electrical safety requirements, including but not limited to driving the scooter. Must have the ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.Similar remote jobs
