Position Summary:
Write up any repair due to fabric flaws or human error that requires additional fabric to be re-cut. Take completed Repair Form to Central Fabric where Central Fabric employee will obtain needed fabric. Hand mark and cut any parts for repair while inspecting fabric and matching center points. If unable to hand cut, cut fabric on automated cutting machine. Assist with locating any missing parts required to complete the item ex. missing arm caps, pillows, bases, etc. Ensure that repairs are received from fabric area in a timely manner and delivered to the operator needing the repaired parts. Maintain copy of Repair Form. Check with customer service (no later than 2 weeks) on "no-fabric" orders waiting to be received. May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed. Experience preferred.
