Operator 1, Machine
- Night Shift | $21/hr
Location:
Mebane, NC 27302 | Contract Position (Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7:30am) About the Role Join a leading manufacturing team as a Machine Operator 1 and play a vital role in maintaining quality production standards during our night shift operations. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your contributions drive business success. Develop foundational skills with opportunities for training and advancement as you support essential manufacturing processes. Responsibilities- Manually package kits and prepare raw materials for production
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe, organized workspace
- Test and inspect parts for in-process quality checks
- Accurately complete required paperwork and maintain documentation according to GMP standards
- Train team members on standard operating procedures
- Operate, set up, start up, and shut down machinery as directed
- Identify and clear basic machine faults and perform simple machine adjustments
- Follow established SOPs, safety policies, and quality guidelines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on operating procedures
- Work overtime as necessary to meet business needs Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and following diagrams and charts
- Basic computer skills and experience with Windows environments Preferred Skills
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment
- Previous training or mentoring experience
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures in manufacturing Benefits
