KP Staffing Hickory is now hiring woodworking machine operators for a company that manufactures high-end furniture in Morgantown, NC! Job Summary The woodworking machine operator will set up and operate woodworking machinery to manufacture high-end, made-to-order furniture while maintaining quality standards and following safety procedures. Pay $17 per hour Shift 1st shift: 6 a.m.

m. Duties Set up and operate vertical and horizontal boring machines Operate band saws, chop saws, variety saws, overhead routers, shapers, and planers Read and follow work instructions to complete assigned tasks Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements Follow machine operation and workplace safety procedures Complete required Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training or refresher courses Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production expectations Collaborate with team members to support production operations Qualifications Minimum 1 year of woodworking machine operation experience required Experience operating woodworking machinery, including saws, routers, shapers, and planers Ability to read and understand work instructions Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, grasp, kneel, and crouch throughout the workday Reliable and consistent attendance Job Type Temp-to-hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Hickory for an in-person interview.
