Job Description Summary Haynes Wire Machine Operators specialize in wire drawing, a precision metalworking process that reduces wire diameter by pulling it through a single die or a series of drawing dies. This role requires technical focus, attention to safety, and independent performance on the night shift. Key Responsibilities Operate wire drawing machinery efficiently. Pull metal wire through dies safely. Reduce wire cross-sections to precise specifications. Set up single and multi-die series. Monitor precision metalworking processes continuously. Inspect finished wire for dimensional accuracy.
Role Requirements Experience:
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/machining experience.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hours:
Night shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading.
Attributes:
High reliability for independent night shift operations.
Benefits & Pay Starting Pay:
$21.30 - $23.00 hourly (plus shift premium pay).
