Backup Blaster Location:
Randleman, NC Shift:
1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM (Overtime as Needed)

$18.50/hour Join a Team That Values Safety, Quality, and Reliability We are seeking a dependable Closeout Technician / Backup Blaster for a growing operation in Randleman, NC. This position combines warehouse and shipping responsibilities with abrasive blasting support as needed. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, be comfortable working outdoors, and have experience using hand and power tools in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Essential Job Duties Closeout Technician Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store incoming equipment and materials. Notify Inventory personnel of received items in a timely manner. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Process and document outgoing shipments. Organize and maintain material storage areas. Operate a sit-down forklift, hand truck, and other material-handling equipment. Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization. Follow all quality standards, procedures, and safety regulations. Work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy. Backup Blaster Responsibilities Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces. Remove rust, paint, scale, contaminants, and other surface imperfections. Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met. Prepare materials for powder coating, painting, and finishing operations. Load and unload materials into blasting equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor blasting equipment and maintain proper abrasive media levels. Assist production departments as needed to meet customer demands. Why Apply? Qualifications Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred. Sit-down forklift experience required. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability and willingness to learn overhead crane operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work with limited supervision. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and balance. Comfortable working outdoors and exposed to varying weather conditions. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
