Washline Operator

Work Shift:

12hr-D Shift (United States of America) The Washline Operator is responsible for the washing of recycled plastic material. The Washline Operator will also be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. Operate and maintain washline machines and proper readings of wash line area equipment. Empty Gaylords, extracting non-compliant material as necessary. Clean spin dryers and monitor washer dumping doors, ensuring a clean flow of material. Salvage all aspirated flake. Stack and bandboxes and transport them to the storage area. Transport materials, as needed, using a tow motor. Keep accurate records of material processed, and from which location it came. Empty hoppers of discharge from the trash augers. Perform cleanup of entire wash line as outlined in the Product Change List. Maintain a clean work area at all times. Other duties as assigned by management. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Required:

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Basic mathematical skills. One to three years experience is also required.
