Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical skills, and commitment to quality will contribute significantly to our production goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and CNC programming equipment. Set up machinery according to specifications, including adjusting tooling, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper alignment using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate production. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring tools; identify defects or deviations from specifications and take corrective actions promptly. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and assembly line tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine logs, and inspection reports in compliance with safety standards. Programing and running various style of jobs from high production to technical small quantities. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, in a factory or manufacturing facility setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files accurately. Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and autodesk is highly desirable. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools. Ability to use hand tools effectively for fabrication or assembly tasks Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments; understanding of GD&T principles preferred. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills; committed to safety standards and continuous improvement. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
