Job Description

Machine Operator Compensation:
$18/hr
Shift/Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM About the role: As a Machine Operator, you'll be at the heart of our production process, playing a vital role in crafting high-quality products. This role is perfect for someone who's mechanically inclined, detail-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, tracking production materials, and upholding strong attention to detail in all aspects of manufacturing.
What you will do:
Operate & Maintain Equipment:
Set up, adjust, and operate converting lines, monitor machine performance for real-time adjustments, and perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs.
Quality Assurance & Inspection:
Conduct regular inspections of finished products and packaging, ensuring all output meets established specifications and quality standards while documenting any deviations or quality concerns.
Inventory & Documentation:
Track usage of production and packaging materials, accurately complete production logs, reports, and maintenance records, and notify supervisors of low stock to assist with inventory counts.
Safety & Collaboration:
Follow all safety protocols, ensure safe operation of machinery, work closely with maintenance and quality teams, and assist in cross-training new team members to strengthen line performance.
What you will bring:
Technical & Mechanical Aptitude:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment (preferably with converting lines) combined with strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production systems.
Technical Literacy & Math:
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, manuals, and SOPs, alongside basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Physical Capability:
Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods (8-12 hours), regularly lift up to 50 lbs, and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and manual handling of materials.
Environment Adaptability:
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, exposure to machinery, and the required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Education & Training:
High school diploma or GED is required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical systems is preferred. What's In It For You?
